The Lake & Mchenry County Specialized Response Teams serve Northeastern Illinois as one of the premiere rescue organizations in the State of Illinois. The Lake & Mchenry County SRT are emergency resonders who are trained for specialty rescues and recovery's. These specialty areas include Hazardous Materials, Dive Rescue, Structural Collapse, Trench Rescue,Confined Space, High Angle Rescue, Wildland Firefighting and Side Scan Sonar.
